The people of the Cro-Magnon period settled in seasonal encampments. Tents were a wooden framework covered with animal hides. Homo sapiens had a highly defined social organization where each individual had a task to perform: tanning hides, sharpening flint stones and reindeer antlers, gathering provisions, preparing hunting weapons, etc. The first artistic creations also appeared at this time.
